A real medical home

Receive comprehensive care for your child(ren) from birth to age 21 years. Our small office and team gets to know you and treats you like family.

Direct access to our team

Access to a members-only number to reach out to Dr. Kelsey and Sam directly. You may call, text, facetime, and send pictures and videos to help with your child’s care. This often can help start treatment early before things get worse, prevent unnecessary office visits, and prevent urgent care or ED visits. We can even help with treatment while you are out of town.

Extended access

We get it, kids always seem to get sick after hours. Reach out directly to Dr. Kelsey and Sam to know the best care for your child right away.

Schedule appointments online

No need to wait until the morning to wait on hold and get a visit with a random provider whenever they are available. Easily schedule a visit that works with your schedule so that you can plan your day ahead of time.

Wellness Checks

We dedicate one hour for wellness checks to allow the time to answer all questions, provide guidance and support, review developmental and mental health screenings, and through history and physical exams. Traditional practices only allow 15-20 minutes for these important preventative care visits.

Immunizations

We provide routine immunizations according to the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Same Day or Next Day sick visits

By keeping a smaller patient panel, we have flexibility in scheduling and always do our best to get you in when it works for your schedule. We dedicate 30 minute visits (or longer per request) to sick visits, instead of the typical 10 minute visits at traditional practices.

Minimal to no wait times

Walk directly into a patient room upon arrival, no need to waste your time waiting for the doctor in a waiting room.

Newborn rounding

Dr. Kelsey rounds at Candler hospital for newborn babies. Start care with your pediatrician as soon as your baby is born.

Lactation support

Our very own Sam is lactation certified and can help support you in your breastfeeding journey, starting with prenatal lactation visits.

Coordination of Care

We have the time to make referrals right away, contact specialists, and contact you directly about lab or imaging results.

Pricing for Membership with insurance

  2. Extended access to your pediatrician through a members-only number
    • Mon-Fri 4:30pm- 7:30pm
    • Sat and Sun 9:00am-12:00pm

You can still reach us after hours for issues that cannot wait. We have a wonderful nurse triage that promptly responds and can call us directly.

For true emergencies, we recommend you call 911.

Dr. Alexander rounds on Newborns at Candler hospital during your entire newborn stay.

If you need to cancel for any reason, simply provide 30 days notice in writing (you can simply text us!).

  • Most parents have been conditioned not to contact their pediatrician because they cannot talk directly to their pediatrician, they have to wait on hold to talk to the front desk and then wait for a call back from the nurse, and they do not want to spend their time in the waiting room for an appointment.
  • Many parents realize once they join that they are relieved to be able to text or call us with quick questions or stop by the office for a quick visit!
  • Busy families thrive in this model because they can reach out for advice on the go (and while traveling), text us with updates, send pictures and videos, text us school forms to be filled out, and easily schedule (or reschedule) appointments.
  • We love getting to spend extra time with our patients to teach them how to take personable responsibility for their health in age appropriate terms. By starting from a young age, we are often able to instill healthy habits and truly focus on preventative medicine.

Many parents do not understand the true value of our practice model until they experience it for themselves.

  • We are often able to prevent unnecessary office visits, urgent care visits and emergency room visits through our ease of communication, early intervention, and frequent follow up. This is especially important for those of us with high deductible insurance plans!
    • Urgent care visits can cost several hundred dollars after testing and often the patients still need to see their pediatrician in follow up.
    • One ER visit costs more than one year of membership with our practice.
  • We do not automatically refer to specialists when we have the ability to spend extra time working up our patients during and after the visit and follow up with our patients about the plan of care.
  • We save parents time and help them miss less work because of the direct communication and flexible scheduling.
  • Our *maximum price* for membership for a family with multiple children is $10/day. Many families pay more than that that per hour for a babysitter and spend more every month for cleaning professionals for their home.
  • We frequently hear from our patient’s parents that we are not charging enough for the level of care that we provide and the parents often ask if we can be their doctor too (we can’t!).

We accept HSA cards for membership fees, but we recommend that you check with your HSA carrier first to confirm.

Of course! Many Grandparents and loved ones want to gift membership and can easily input their credit card, HSA card, or ACH transfer for automatic payments.
