Why Moon River Pediatrics?

Moon River Pediatrics was created in 2022 to offer families in Savannah and surrounding areas a model of healthcare that feels completely different from a traditional practice and just makes sense! We want to know each child and family to provide personalized high-quality care.
We remove barriers to access and communication to improve patient care and make the most efficient use of your time. We keep our patient panel small so we can know each patient and care for them both inside and outside the office.

Shelley - Medical Assistant

I have been married to my very best friend for the past 15 years. Our only child is a 90 Pound Rottweiler named “Kitty”. I started my EMS career in 1997, working as a Dispatcher, Paramedic, EMT instructor, and part time Flight Medic. After 25 years of working in Emergency Medical Services I gave up 24 Hour shifts and began working as a Medical Assistant, where I have been blessed to work with Dr. Alexander and Sam

Ally - Practice Manager

I have always wanted to go into a career that helps people. While at Florida Gulf Coast University, completing my bachelor's degree in Health Science, I became passionate about the health inequalities and access to quality medical care that many people face. I decided the best route for me to help my community and future patients was to go to medical school and become a physician. I aspire to one day work for or have my own practice that addresses those patients' needs. I am currently interested in pursuing Emergency Medicine or Obstetrics & Gynecology. .
